theSkimm is a news digest subscription, geared to speak to millennial women. They were looking to translate their iPhone app into Android, using best practices from the Google Material design guidelines. We reworked the app structure, and validated the new designs with usability testing.
Additionally, theSkimm wanted to incorporate a free experience that would drive new users to a paid subscription model. We surveyed users about their subscription preferences, and helped to shape the app's free experience.
